Kara is a certified and licensed speech language pathologist practicing in the state of Maryland. She earned her master’s degree at Towson University in 2020. Following graduation, Kara began working as an elementary level school-based speech language pathologist. She began practicing part-time at Graceful Speech Language Therapy in October of 2025!
Kara has a wide range of experience within pediatric speech language pathology, specifically ages 2 to 11. Her clinical areas of interest include literacy and written language, early language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and speech sound disorders. Kara values multi-sensory learning and the importance of meeting each child’s individual learning needs within their therapy sessions. She is passionate about helping her clients discover and be confident in their voices, in addition to targeting skills that are meaningful to them and their families.
Outside of the clinic, Kara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, going to the beach, and exercising! She has a love for animals (especially golden retrievers), coffee, and nature. Kara is thrilled to be a part of the Graceful team and work with families to support the growth of her clients!
